History
Angela trained as a traditional silver smith but always enjoyed working with all kinds of different media. Her fascination with the senses led to a very interesting set of work during her time at the Loughborough University School of Art and Design.
Her final university show pieces, a range of ‘false eyelashes’ and laser welded steel vessels were chosen for the ‘New Designers 2004’ exhibition in Islington. As a follow on from this she was asked to exhibit her work at ‘Wandelroute 2004’ at the Galerie Lous Martin in Delft, Holland an exhibition of British jewellery designers. Her work was featured in one of Holland’s broadsheet newspapers in a very positive article on the show.
Having set up in business following graduation and now with a passion for fashion and the more unusual side to jewellery design, Angela began looking at creating contemporary and individual accessories as an alternative to the conventional.
Her first bespoke commission to design hair decorations for a bride and her four bridesmaids was a great success, and led to the beginning of her aspirations to create individual and unique pieces for those who desired something out of the ordinary or even just something a little bit special.
